I had the wonderful privilege in 2009 of attending a conference in Turkey organised by Wolfgang Simson. The unique thing about this conference was that there was no other agenda and to listen to the Holy Spirit and what he had to say. About 80 Christian leaders from different parts of the world were present, and I remember Wolfgang sharing the remarkable testimony of how God had led him to arrange the conference at this particular spot. The details escape me now, but suffice it to say that the conference was held at Seleucia, which is where Paul and Barnabas departed from on their missionary journey described in Acts chapter 13. Out of my bedroom window I could see the original stone jetty where Paul’s ship must have tied up,and Paul and Barnabas embark for their remarkable church planting trip. (to be continued…)
